Multi Strand Scarf & Noro Scarf

This pattern requires knits and purls. But mostly Knits as Garter Stitch is produced on most of the scarf.
Materials:

Yarn: Noro Scarf: Noro Worsted Weight - 1 x 200 gram skein
or
Multi Strand Scarf: 5-6 strands of a mix of 2ply, 3ply and 4ply yarn s in silk, cotton or mixes – 2-250 grams in total

Needles: Noro 5-6mm
Multi Strand 8-10mm
(Note: As you go up needle sizes the weave becomes looser.)

Darning or Tapestry Needle with a Large eye.

(In the rows if you are using a multi strand yarn then you can change the yarn every 2nd row to a different combination to achieve the stripey effect. Some overlap in yarns keeps it balanced.)
