This simple cowl lets the yarn do the heavy lifting, so that you can play with the lovely Noro colourways without any complicated patterning.

We have knit two versions of the cowl. A worsted weight winter version and an aran weight summer version.

You will need:

2 balls Noro Silk Garden (we used colour 369)
5.5mm 24” circular needle or size needed to get a gauge of 16sts to 10cm in double moss stitch

or

1 ball Noro Taiyo Aran (we used colour 66 in one project and 142 in another)
6.00mm 24” circular needle or size needed to get gauge of 14sts to 10cm in double moss stitch

You will also need a tapestry needle to weave in the ends, and you may choose to use a marker to indicate the beginning of your round.

This pattern is available free with the purchase of Noro Taiyo or Noro Silk Garden from Beehive Wool Shop.
