Noro Fall Wrap
This triangle-shaped shawl is knit in stockinette using a self-striping yarn, Noro Geshi, alternating with contrasting rows of garter stitch in solid color yarns.
Depending how much yarn is used determines the length and drape of the shawl. Gauge is relatively unimportant. Photo shown used entire skein of yarn (650 yds) which drapes nicely in the front. For a smaller wrap, decrease amount of yarn used and to go larger just add a second skein!
For contrasting garter stitch rows, use a similar yarn gauge in a complementary color of your choice! Space out the garter rows as you like, the more at the top of the shawl the better as the texture/color of the garter stitches will stand out at the neck and front of the wrap.
This shawl is open to many design options and color play with a simple construction for hours of creative, zen knitting!
