The North Sea Set consists of a hat and a scarf. The hat has a wide, folded rib brim, while the top of the hat is worked in stockinette stitch. The scarf is worked as a long tube, where the ends are sewn together at the end – this way the scarf does not have a right and a wrong side.

Sizes: The hat fits a head circumference of approx. 54-58 cm 21¼-22¾ inches. The scarf is approx. 2 m 78¾ inches long and 23 cm 9 inches wide

Gauge: Hat: 23 sts x 32 rows in stockinette stitch with 2 strands of yarn held together on a 3 mm US2½ needle = 10 x 10 cm 4 x 4 inches
Scarf: 28 sts x 38 rows in stockinette stitch with one strand of yarn on a 3 mm US2½ needle = 10 x 10 cm 4 x 4 inches

Needles: Circular needle: 3 mm US2½, 40 cm. Double-pointed needle: 3 mm US2½

Materials: Sunday by Sandnes Garn (50 g = 235 m 257 yds) or Arwetta by Filcolana (50 g = 210 m 230 yds) Approx. 80 g of yarn is used for the hat (the hat in the photo is worked in Sunday by Sandnes Garn in color Croissant)

Approx. 300 g of yarn is used for the scarf (the scarf in the photo is worked in Sunday by Sandnes Garn in colors Banana, Støvet Lilla, Croissant, That Orange Feeling, Whipped Cream and Camel)
