This NEW gorgeous North Star Blanket Design, inspired by the the North Star / Polaris, works up surprisingly fast! It is designed for you to be able to suit any tension you use and you can stop at any row for your desired size. It is a mesmerizing blanket and it is relaxing to create!
There stitches change frequently so its not a blanket you will get bored with! Testers all said they LOVED this pattern and that it worked up EASILY and QUICKLY! Testers also said the pattern is easy to read and follow!

It works perfectly as a baby blanket/small toddler or lap blanket / lapghan. This pattern contains instructions for working the blanket all the way up to a King Size!

Note: my King size tester went up in hook size to prevent ripples

In the photo example by Karen V. Edwards, Orchid and Bee’s designer a loose tension was used and the blanket reached about 38 inches. Testers averaged between 29 inches (with dk yarn) to 44 - 47 inches (with worsted weight yarn). Testers notes are at the end of the pattern with the types of yarn used, project time average, and approximate size. Approx. 1000 - 1400 yards in worsted weight. Designer used Red Heart Super Saver #4 weight, Dusty Grey, 364 yds/7oz/198g/333m per skein, Approximately 3 and 1/4th skeins used with an H hook 5mm, No dye lot for yarn, which you see in the photo of this listing.

Designer completed this blanket in 4 days and testers completed it between 18 to 20 hours.
