This cardigan was designed for breed-specific yarn and the qualities of the breeds helped shape this design. This cardigan uses different stitch patterns in the different colors with slip stitches to pull them together. It’s worked seamlessly from the top down with button loops to accommodate irregular buttons. It accompanies the article, “Breed Specific Yarn,” in the Winter 2026/2027 issue of Cast On.
