The Northern Lights Rectangular Shawl is knit using a new technique called Double Row Knitting.

The Double Row Knitting technique uses two working balls of yarn. You can either divide your yarn into two equal balls or use two different colours. You can also use two different blends of yarn or two different weights.

Double Row Knitting creates a garment with a horizontal rib. This translates to a reversible fabric that has excellent drape and coziness.

Pattern includes instructions for Double Row Knitting technique.
