This scarf will warm you even in the most severe cold! Its northern-inspired design is much easier to knit than it looks – just alternating garter stitch and an easy-to-make two-color slipped stitch pattern.

You will need
Yarn: SANDNES GARN MINI ALPAKKA (100% alpaca), 50 g [1.76 oz] = 150 m [164 yds]
A: Color 1088 koks natur (charcoal), 150 g [5.3 oz] – 3 skeins = 450 m [492 yds] total
B: Color 2650 grabeige melert (beige heather), 200 g [7 oz] – 4 skeins = 600 m [656 yds] total
Needles: One pair of straight needles, or circular needle 80 cm 32 in long, in size needed to obtain gauge listed, suggested size: 3 mm US 2½
