This jumper was designed for my grandson to wear during this winter. It is knitted in the round, in one piece from the top down, with the sleeve stitches put onto scrap yarn and finished after the body.

It has a yoke which is knitted in Sirdar Baby Crofter, the rest of the jumper is knitted in the plain Sirdar Baby Snuggly. The edgings are worked in garter stitch.

The whole jumper uses between 130g and 300g of DK baby yarn, of which approx 1/3 is the Crofter yarn used for the yoke and edgings. This is a lovely yarn which gives the effect of fair isle.
