Northumbria is the perfect, beginner friendly shawl. It is knit as a large, symmetrical triangle in garter stitch beginning from one of the short edges and decreasing evenly along one edge. This way it is not only easy to knit but also a motivational wonder because the rows get shorter as you go ;-)
Be sure to take your gauge with your fabric slightly stretched.
Obviously you can work with any colours you like and you can also replace the Balayage Handdyed with any solid colour of your choice or vice versa. This Shawl offers you so many option whether you decide to knit within a colour family or create a rainbow coloured shawl, the choice is all yours.
