Sizes: 1 (2, 3, 4)(5, 6, 7)(8, 9, 10) with finished bust of 28 (32.5, 36, 40)(44, 48, 52)(56.5, 59.5, 64)“/70 (81, 90, 100)(110, 120, 130)(141, 149, 160) cm. The sweater is intended to be worn with approximately 4”/10 cm ease.

Gauge/Tension: 14 stitches and 18 rows to 4”/ 10 cm in stockinette stitch.

Yarn: Aran-weight yarn, approximately 335 (380, 430, 530)(595, 650, 700)(750, 800, 850) grams/400 (450, 515, 640)(715, 780, 840)(900, 960, 1020) yards/370 (420, 475, 580)(650, 715, 770)(825, 875, 930) meters.
The yarn used for the sample is Kraeo Big Brother Aran, a 100% wool yarn with 140 yards/128 meters to 115 grams. Other wool or wool-blend yarns would work for this pattern, as would many synthetics and cotton blends.

Needles: US 9/5.5 mm and 11/8.0 mm or size needed to achieve gauge plus two full US sizes smaller. This sweater is worked in the round.
You will need:
• 16”/40 cm circular needle in both sizes
• 24 or 32”/60 or 80 cm, as well as 40”/100 cm or size to knit comfortably for those working sizes 5 and up, and 60”/150 cm if working size 10, in both sizes.
• needles in both sizes for your preferred method of working in the round for the sleeves and sleeve cuff, either dpns or a long circular needle for the Magic Loop method.
