Stirring: Nórui - meaning fiery

An Elven Reckoning - a year of knits from the last homely house is a collection of twelve beautiful garments and accessories inspired by the stories of Elves that inhabit Middle-Earth from J.R.R. Tolkien’s books.
In this book designer Sarah Alderson will take you on a journey through the six seasons that make up an elven reckoning.
The twelve beautiful patterns feature a wide range of design elements, from cables to stranded colourwork, slipped stitch patterns to lace. Sarah has created a pattern for every person (and Elf!).

Inspired by the warming of the cold earth as spring comes, A beautiful sun radiates from the yoke of this fitted sweater.

Knit in the round from the top down, this jumper features i-cord edgings, corrugated ribbed cuffs and a stranded colourwork yoke.
