Wide sleeves, adjustable length, cute lace pattern, who could ask for more. This is the Norwich Blooms Cardigan, named for the beautiful city it was made in; Norwich in the county of Norfork, UK. If you ever have a chance, make sure you visit this medieval town to see it’s beauty.

This cardigan is made sleeves first and folded down and seamed to create the desired wide sleeved shape. Then, you can add the length you want around the bottom to make the perfect cardigan just for you. And finally finished with a collar and a crab stitch detail on the sleeves.

The lace stitch used has a subtle flower pattern that is just the right amount of detail to make the cardigan pop.

For this pattern I used Lion Brand Pound of Love yarn which is an Aran weight 4 yarn. You can use any weight 4 yarn for this pattern as long as you check your gauge. This weight of yarn combined with a lace stitch is perfect for making a lightweight cardigan suitable for Spring days or cool Summer nights.

Happy Crocheting!
