A quick and easy crescent shawl with a simple lace edging and garter stitch body. Wrap it over your winter coat or scrunch it up into a cowl - either way, you’ll be cosy and warm on the coldest days! The edging is knit sideways after the shawl is worked.

V2 includes instructions to eliminate the “hump” that some people have had at cast on. Otherwise the pattern is the same as the original.

The shawl is very easy to make larger. Keep knitting the body as per the pattern but make sure your final stitch count is divisible by 8 (eight). Then the border should work as written with no stitches left over.

Needles: 4mm
Yarn: 335m (363 yards) Vinnis Serina (100% bamboo, 4 ply/sport)
Gauge: 26sts to 30 rows = 10cm
Size: span = 150cm / depth = 30cm

Thank you so much to Silcon for translating the pattern into Portuguese.

In the translation to portuguese there is a mistake. On the rows 9 till 16 the last yarn over is a mistake.

Há uma erro nas voltas 9 até à 16. A última laçada é erro. Não leva laçada.
