Not a peacock is an elegant, mid-sized lacy shawl. It is an easy knit.

Materials
Yarn: one skein of heavy lace yarn 600m/100gr
or two skeins of fingering yarn

Please choose a yarn that blocks well and keeps the shape. For a bigger shawl choose thicker yarn. You will then need more yardage.

Beads: beading is optional. As shown the shawl uses 855 beads.
Needles: 3 mm (US 2.5) or size to give you a fabric you like.
Other notions:
• crochet hook or other gizmo to place beads
• optional: crochet hook in the same size as your knitting needles for bind off
• tapestry needle to weave in ends
Gauge: not critical, but the shawl´s finished size and your yarn usage will vary according to your chosen yarn, needle size and your tension.
