These not quite basic, everyday fingerless mitts are ambidextrous and gender neutral so they work for whomever’s hands you’d like to warm!

There is a ribbing detail on the outside of the palm for some visual interest and some extra stretch for comfort when your hands are doing hand things.

Materials:

  • Yarn: your choice of worsted weight - approx 100 yds
  • US Size 7 (4.5 mm) knitting needles. (My preference is to use the magic loop method with circular needs but DPNs can also be used if that is your circular knitting method of choice.)
  • Yarn needle
  • 2 stitch markers
  • Stitch holder (or scrap yarn of a different color)

I strive to write patterns that are straight forward and easily understood, however if you have any questions please let me know!

Please note a typo-related error was found and the pattern has been updated on Feb 3, 2025
