Not So Scary Scarecrows
Although they may not be much use at scaring away crows, these little guys are great fun to have hanging around the house!

Pattern is written in English and includes 6 pages of full instructions; a list of supplies and techniques required and abbreviations.

Yarn:
- Small amounts of #3 light weight:
A-Legs; B-Body & Sleeves; C-Head & Hands; D-Hat & Shoes

  • Small amount Cotton: E-Straw
  • Small amount of #1 super fine weight: F-patches & Kerchief.
  • Scraps for Face Embroidery Samples are knit in Patons Astra for Colours A to D, Bernat Handicraft Cotton for Straw, & Patons sock yarn for patches, kerchief, etc

Needles: Two 3.00mm & two 2.75mm straight needles

Skills required:

  1. Cast on/off

  6. Very basic embroidery

St - Stitch
St st - Stocking Stitch
P - Purl
K - Knit
K2tog - Knit 2 sts together
P2tog - Purl 2 sts together
Pfb - Purl into the front and the back of the next st increasing one st.
Kfb - Knit into the front and the back of the next st increasing one st.
