The dish cloth is knitted flat, back and forth, in garter stitch and dropped stitches. Using a relatively small amount of yarn, it’s a perfect project for scrap yarns that’s fairly quick to make. It’s machine washable at 60 degrees (given that a cotton, linen, or bamboo yarn is used) and can be reused over and over again.

Please note that gauge and needle size aren’t important to follow since the size is easily adaptable. You can use basically any cotton, linen, or bamboo scrap yarn and hold one or two strands depending on your preference. Just make sure to choose a suitable needle size for your yarn.
