DESCRIPTION: A classic and timeless designed hat to compliment any outfit on those cold and chilly days! It’s perfect for the whole fam, and goes great with or without a pom! Invisible decreases at the crown.

This pattern is perfect for those bulkier bulky yarns. I’ve often found Bulky #5 yarn can have a range in thickness and the same gauge doesn’t always work. I revamped my 2017 design to accommodate the bulkier versions of this weight class in yarn. It’s squishy and so cozy!

NOTES:
This hat is worked bottom up and in the round.
It’s ideal gauge is for the bulkier of bulky yarns. Not all bulky yarns are the same and this one is best when used with those bulkier versions.
The texture is worked using a simple knit and purl stitch and has invisible decreases at the crown.
Steam block when done.
