This pattern was designed as a competition pattern for Sock Madness 19 (2025). The pattern will be released to the public for sale after the competition has concluded (summer 2025). If you are interested in the contest or a friendly group that likes challenges, check out the group.

These feminine, toe-up, partially mirrored socks feature a twisted-stitch ribbing sprinkled with texture and cables. Art deco style fans step in a spiral partway around the sock leg. Worked on the bottom of the foot, the heel gusset leads to a reinforced heel turn and flap. The patterned cuff caps the sock with a flair of three larger fans, creating a gentle scallop.

This pattern requires reading both written directions and charts. Techniques used include knit, purl, slipped stitches, twisted stitches in both directions, 2-stitch cables and 3-stitch twists with twisted stitches, wrapped stitches, short-rows, and several increases and decreases. Links to video and photo tutorials are included.
