Construction
The Novasocks are knitted top down. First, the cuff is worked, followed by the leg, which is knitted in rounds with a stitch pattern. Next, the reinforced heel flap is knitted before shaping the heel turn. Then the gusset is formed. The foot is also knitted in the same stitch pattern until the toe is shaped with decreases. The sock is then closed using the Kitchener stitch.
