November is a classic ribbed hat with a little twist. Fancy cables are easy and fun to knit, you won’t get bored while knitting this hat. You can make the hat shorter or longer, with folded or classic brim, it is just up to you!
The hat is knitted in the rounds from bottom up.

Note: The pattern includes only written instructions.
This pattern has not been tested so I will be very grateful if you let me know about any miskates you find.

Sizes
( 1 , 2 )
1 – adult small: to fit 54 cm / 21.5” head circumference.
2 – adult large: to fit 58 cm / 23.25” head circumference.
Length with folded brim: 23 cm / 9.25 ”

Yarn
For a hat you’ll need about ( 180, 200 ) m / ( 197, 219 ) ” of any DK weight yarn.
Sample was made with Organic DK 7oczek ( 100% South American Merino; 225m / 246y per 100g ) in “True blood” colorway.
Note that the yardage is estimated.

Needles
3.75 mm ( US #5 ) circular needles for magic-loop or dpns, or size needed to get the right gauge;
3.0 mm ( US #2 ½ ) circular needles for magic-loop or dpns, or three sizes smaller than the gauge needles.

Additional materials
1 stitch marker, cable needle, tapestry needle for weaving ends.

Gauge
28 sts and 36 rounds = 10x10 cm / 4x4 “ - in 1x1 rib pattern worked in the round with 3.0 mm (US #2 ½) needles, after wet blocking.
26 sts and 34 rounds = 10x10 cm / 4x4 “ - in texture pattern worked in the round with 3.75 mm (US #5) needles, after wet blocking.
Adjust needle size if necessary to get given gauge.

ERRATA:
cdd - cetral double decrease - slip 2 sts knitwise, both at the same time, k1, p2sso.
p2sso - pass 2 slipped stitches over the knit stitch.
