This wrap was knit during November’s “Bringing Joy Knitalong” with Arnall-Culliford Knitwear.

This asymmetrical, elongated, triangular wrap begins at one corner and grows to the opposite side, which has a scalloped edge. I’ve used a multi-strand merino yarn from Bergere de France that has been discontinued, but you can substitute a solid or semi-solid DK weight yarn, or get creative and make your own marls with lace-weight yarns. You can make the shawl larger or smaller by knitting more, or fewer, repeats, in either of the first two sections, and the design could easily accommodate yarns of different weights. I have knit the border straight on the remaining stitches at the end of the chevron section, which emphasizes the asymmetrical nature of the shawl, but I have included a chart for continuing the shawl shaping with the border, if you prefer.
