And another one is me, that’s three! This is the third pattern in my epic Numberblocks series. After making One and Two, join me as I carry on my epic quest to populate Numberland….

This cuddly Three is knit in the round on 4.25/4.5 mm dpns using Aran weight yarn (although gauge isn’t important so you can substitute for a lighter weight yarn if you don’t want your Numberblocks to be too big…). The body is worked in one piece, with the face and buttons duplicate stitched on before starting the decrease rounds (chart provided). The arms/legs are knit separately and attached at the end. Mine used up about 70g of bright yellow yarn for the body, and small, scrap amounts of red, orange, black and white for the arms, legs and face. You’ll also need stuffing and a tapestry needle, and stitch markers are always useful to keep track of stitches (although not essential). Skills required:

purling
