Nurture yourself with this delicate bralette. Designed with fit and comfort in mind. Comes in 9 finished bust sizes and personalized bust shaping. So comfortable you’ll forget you’re wearing it! Can be worn on its own, or as a beautiful layering piece. It makes for a great training bra too.

Sizing:
Meant to be worn with 8” / 20 cm of negative ease at the bust to fit a bust of 31.5” - 61.5” / 79 cm - 154 cm. Prioritize the bust measurement when choosing a size, the underbust can be modified. See the schematic and size charts in the photos for more details.

Each size has at least 5 short row cup sizes available (with more cup sizes in the larger sizes). Cup sizes are based on bust cup depth, and a different cup size can be worked for each side.

To combat the additional costs fat knitters face, I’ve added a coupon code for knitters who are often excluded from pattern sizing. For knitters who typically knit size 6-9, all my garment patterns are 20% off with the coupon code ANTIFATTAX.

Construction:
Worked top down seamlessly, without grafting, and minimal finishing. Just weave in the ends and block!

Recommended yarn:
Shibui Knits Lunar (held double)
The Wicked Knittah 50 merino 50 silk

Or any Fingering weight yarn that you feel comfortable wearing next to skin. For a non-wool alternative I recommend Hikoo Cobasi, as it’s nice and stretchy.

Estimated Yardage:
1, 1, 2, (2, 2, 2) {3, 3, 3} skeins Shibui Knits Lunar OR 1 1, 1, (1, 1, 1) {2, 2, 2} 100g skeins (400 yards) of fingering weight yarn. This is a rough estimate, depending on the cup size and modifications you choose to make you may need more or less yarn.

Instructions:
The lace is both charted and written out row by row, it can also be skipped completely.

The pattern includes modification options to help you make a piece that will fit right into your wardrobe.

Updated 4/6/2024 to correct a typo and add quality of life improvements (like hyperlinks). It should now be easier to read and follow. The progress charts are now separated by size for ease of use.
