A small homage to a favourite British (and elsewhere) bird - the Nuthatch - a charming and most welcome garden visitor to be sure!

My little bird is knitted in one piece - from beak to tail then back to beak - using fine Alpaca yarn doubled up using two colours at once to create subtle tones

I’ve added clear ‘how to make and finish’ images within the pattern…

PLUS - there is also a YouTube video illustrating how to make up your bird and how to make it look as real as can be (given it’s made from yarn and not feathers!)
