Inspiración: Con la Navidad cerca lo tuve claro, tenía que inspirarme en Nueva York, es la ciudad donde me encantaría pasar unas navidades, aunque sea una vez en la vida. Ese espectáculo de color y luces, frío y alegría que transmiten muchas películas americanas me hace ilusión sentir algún día.
Elegí el color rojo intenso y mi cabeza ya estaba en la que llaman “la capital del mundo”; ahora, tocaba elegir, primero el estilo y segundo los motivos de diseño. El estilo lo tenía también claro, quería un modelo elegante, un vestido cómodo pero que te hiciera brillar en cualquier fiesta, un vestido con el que bailaría el single “New York” de Frank Sinatra o me pondría para ir a ver el famoso árbol de navidad del Rockefeller center y patinar en su pista de hielo.

• Material: Feliz y punto color Dita, grosor fingering 100% merino (100g - 400m). Agujas 3.5mm (4/E en numeración americana), cables de diferentes largos según necesidad, 1 botón de 10mm de diámetro, un marcador. Fibra necesaria: 400 (500, 500, 500, 600, 600,600) gr.

• Muestra de tensión: 24sts x 30 rows hacen una muestra de (10x10) cm tejida en punto jersey.

Inspiration: When I was asked to participate in the Christmas Glam collection and its Christmas theme, it was immediately clear to me that I should draw inspiration from New York, the city where I would love to spend the Christmas season at least once in my life. The spectacle of lights and color, cold and Christmas cheer that are seen in so many movies is something I would love to see some day.
My main task being to design and knit a dress, I chose an intense color of red and my mind was already thinking of what is known as “the world´s capital” but the style and the design motifs had not yet been chosen. However, I was also pretty clear about the style, I wanted an elegant design, a comfortable dress but one that could make me shine at any party, a dress in which I could dance to Frank Sinatra´s “New York” and which I would like to wear while visiting the famous Christmas tree at the Rockefeller center and going ice-skating at its rink.

-Material: Feliz y punto color Dita, fingering weight (400m per 100g) 100% merino. Circular needles of 3.5mm, cables of 35cm and 55-75cm for the body and 80cm or DPNs for the sleeves; 1 stitch markers, and 1 decorative buttons. Yarn: 400(500, 500, 500, 600, 600,600) gr.

-Gauge: 24sts and 30 rounds give 10 x 10cm in stocking stitch.
