Not your Grandma’s Doily! A semi-circular shape wraps around you and stays put! I took some stitch pattern ideas from Knitted Lace by Sonja Esbensen and Anna Rasmussen and improvised my way to the lace mesh edge.

This design is the first of four patterns in Shawls of Many Shapes, Book Two. Please message me if you have purchased any of the four individually and I will provide you with a discount coupon.

The size and amount of yarn depends on your weight of yarn, anywhere from lace to fingering, as well as your preferred needle size. Calculations to use the most of your yarn are included in the instructions to add as many finishing mesh lace rows as you desire and yet have enough for the beautiful beaded crochet bind off.

Yes, beads!! Of course, my signature ♥

Charts only. Until I can find someone to transcribe the charts into written row by row instructions, that is the way I roll. It takes time away from all these creative ideas fighting to get out of my head.
