Quick but satisfying, this little evergreen mug cozy is perfect for new knitters and as a last minute gift for experienced knitters.

You’ll need to know (or be ready to practice) knitting I-cords, KFB increases, and BO decreases.

This is one size fits most mugs, but you could easily adjust the pattern to be wider by doing more increase repeats or longer by making the I-cords longer.

This is a great way to use up scrap cotton yarn in whatever color you like! I suggest cotton because you might spill a beverage on it and will need to wash it, but really any washable yarn would be great.
