One size hat with ribbed brim.

This hat was designed for the 100th birthday of the Estonian Republic in 2018.

Oak has always been considered a sacred tree in Estonia, it is a symbol of longevity, strength and power. There are two intersecting golden oak branches in the Estonian coat of arms.
Upside down the oak leaves look like spruces, which is the 3rd most common tree in Estonia.

Pattern includes a chart for the body and the crown of the hat.

Fits head circumference 21–22” / 54–56cm.

Finished measurements:
circumference (of ribbing), unstretched: 18” / 46cm,
length: 10” / 25cm

Yarn: fingering weight yarn in two colors (1 ball of each color).

Required skills: knitting in round, reading chart, stranded knitting with two colors, k, k2tog, p, ssk.
