A very beautiful and intricate lace insertion depicting oak leaves and acorns. The pattern was contributed by M. Taylor and included in a book of prize-winning knitting patterns edited by George Curling Hope of Ramsgate in 1848.
The insertion is 34 stitches wide and has a 26 row repeat.
