A quick little shawl that’s easier than it looks! Worked from the bottom up, the pattern is quickly memorized and the rows just get shorter and shorter… This one is knit up in Cachet, a sumptuous 100% cashmere, but the pattern works equally well for Snug Worsted, Scholar, Traveler Aran or Lodge Worsted.

Finished Size
60” wide x 25” deep, after light blocking.

Yarn
The Plucky Knitter Cachet (100% cashmere; 180 yds /105 g): Registry 3 skeins. Appx 515 yds—exact yardage will vary!

Needles

Size 8 (5.0 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions
Marker (m).

Gauge
18 sts and 28 rows = 4” in Lace Pattern on larger needles
Although gauge isn’t essential on this project, please note that any changes in gauge will affect the finished measurements and the amount of yarn used.

Notes
This shawl is worked from the bottom up and shaped with decreases. Although the long tail cast on is recommended, the cabled cast on or knitted cast on could also be used.
