The Oakes Beanie is full of texture and simplicity. It is crocheted flat into a rectangle which is fold and seamed, then the brim is crocheted in the round and the top of the hat is sewn shut.

Sizes are according to head circumference. The rectangle will be a little smaller than the circumference to make a snug fit.
