Obtuse is a big one! Filled with texture and interest at every turn. The combination of hook and yarn make for a cozy but light piece. The drape is amazing!

Obtuse gets its name from the geometric shape. I’ve always had a fascination for using my craft to play with shapes. I am constantly evolving and so does this shawl. Each section is an adventure in texture and color. I hope you enjoy the journey and a not so plain triangle.

The shape of the shawl is achieved by shaping in three sections along with the spine (CD). There is a stitch count chart included for your reference at the end of the pattern as well as video support. It is extremely important to count your stitches on the forward and return pass. Use stitch markers to identify the CD and YO.

The sample was made with fingering weight yarn from different indie dyers. I used three different colors but I encourage you to play with color! Check out the projects from my amazing testers!
