Pattern
The Deep Ocean Waves scarf is reversible, which is really desirable for a long scarf that will be wrapped around your neck multiple times. That way it can really be wrapped randomly without thought about whether or not the wrong side is showing. It is a simple scarf that just requires the knit stitch, the purl stitch, and a quick to learn cable stitch

Designer Tip
Use 2 different color stitch markers to indicate if you are on an even row or an odd row. Since the fabric is reversible, it is easy to get confused about where you are in the pattern. The different color markers for the odd and even rows really helps eliminate that confusion.
