Ocean Flowers Poncho
A fun crocheted poncho with large flowers and crazy stitch pattern. Use any yarn and colours you like, to create your own personal accessory.
You can use a colour changing yarn, a solid colour, or lots of different colours. I used a self striping blow yarn.
A detailed written pattern with lots of photos, plus a complete photo tutorial for the daisy stitch. A schematic drawing with measurements is also included.
Gauge:
crazy stitch = 14 stitches x 6 rows in 10 cm/4 inch
a square = 12cm/4.72”
Stitches used:
Abbreviations US Terminology:
ch : chain
sc : single crochet
hdc : half double crochet
dc : double crochet
sl st : slip stitch
st/sts : stitch/stitches
Daisy stitch: photo tutorial is included in the pattern. The Daisy stitch is crocheted over two rows; in the first row you need to pull up loops and close them with a chain st, the second row uses hdc stitches only.
