c - Chain
sc - Single crochet
dc - Double crochet
Dc2tog - double chain 2 stitches together
Ldc - linked double crochet (Insert hook into the middle horizontal bar of the stitch just made, yarn over, pull up a loop (2 loops on hook). Insert hook into the next chain/stitch, yarn over, pull up another loop (3 loops on hook). Yarn over, pull through 2 loops (2 loops on hook). Yarn over, pull through remaining 2 loops.)
V-st - yarn over, insert hook into st, yarn over, pull up a loop (3 loops on hook). Yarn over, pull through 2 loops (2 loops on hook). Sk st and insert hook into st after skipped st. Yarn over and pull up a loop (3 loops on hook). Yarn over, pull through 2 loops (2 loops on hook). Yarn over, pull through remaining 2 loops.)

Notes
The scarf is worked flat, in rows.
A border is added in sc around the scarf and a wave foam pattern added at each short end.
Adding embroidery around the wave shapes highlights the shape, but is optional.
