DESCRIPTION

The Ocean Waves Tote Bag is both easy to make and a great to bring to the market or even the beach. This pattern is made using only two stitches; single crochet and half double crochet. The yarn I used for this pattern is ‘Premier Cotton Fair’. This yarn is 50% cotton, and 50% acrylic, making it both easy to work with and creates a durable finished product. Because this yarn is fairly thin, you will work this pattern with the yarn held double.

MATERIALS

• 3 skeins of Premier cotton fair in color A (I used the color white)
• 1 skein of Premier cotton fair in color B (I used the color baby blue)
• US size H, 5.00 mm
• Tapestry needle (for weaving in ends)
• Scissors
• 4 stitch markers

CONSTRUCTION

This bag is bottom up in continuous rounds. The entirety of this pattern is worked using 2 strands of yarn held double.
