Since October 2020, I’ve been hosting a sock knit-a-long, called Fall Socks KAL (or Meias de Outono in portuguese), challenging everyone who likes to knit socks to join me.
It didn’t take me very long to start designing my own socks during this challenge, rather than knit someone else’s design. It became a challenge within a challenge for me.

This year, I chose the yarn and let it inspire me!

These socks, full of texture, were designed during the Fall Socks KAL.

It is knit from the leg cuff, using a german short row heel and then decreasing for the toe, combining 3 different textured sections.

The sample was knit in the round using mini circular needles, but they easily be knit using magic loop method or 5 double pointed needles.

Shown in sample is a size M1 (that fits a 37 shoe foot).
