Knit from cuff to toe, they feature a decorative Latvian twist edging, a detail that
gives the cuff a bit of fun trimming! The folksy colorwork motif used throughout is relatively simple, yet engaging for new and experienced knitters alike. Short row
heel construction features German short rows. Instructions are written for knitting
with a set of five double-pointed needles, but could be easily adapted to the
magic loop method.Written in three adult sizes, this pattern can be adjusted to fit
smaller, larger, or in between sizes by modifying the gauge — using different yarn weights, and/or needle sizes.

GAUGE and SIZE
30 sts x 38 rows = 10 x10 cm / 4 x 4” (in the round, in stockinette stitch and stranded colorwork).
Finished socks measure approximately 8 (9.25, 10.5) inches in circumference. (Length of leg and foot are both adjustable.)

You can achieve larger, smaller, or in-between sizes by simply adjusting needle size or yarn weight. To calculate finished circumference in a new gauge, divide the sock cast-on number by your stitches per inch.

Color work charts for this pattern are presented in both light main color/ dark contrasting color, and dark main color/light contrasting color.
