These fingerless mitts are designed to keep your hands warm without getting in the way of your fingers so that you can wear them while you type or knit. The bright but natural pink and green colours in this yarn made me think of the rose bush in my garden which often flowers well into October. This inspired the pattern name and designs which represent leaves around the bottom and a rose in full flower on the back of each glove.

This pattern uses Fair Isle (also known as stranded colourwork). If you have never used this technique before you might prefer to start with an easier pattern, like my Mine and Yours Mug Warmers.

These mitts are one size, to fit a medium women.

These mitts use two colours of yarn, 1 50g skein of each colour will be plenty.
