Recent community renditions of the musical Grease, featuring the iconic picture of Olivia Newton-John wearing a flirty summer scarf inspired this project. Ode To Olivia is an easy to knit, quick as can be project that works well with yarn weights ranging from Light Fingering to DK, all using the same size needle. Depending on selected yarn, the scarf will end up ranging in size from 33” - 40” in length with a depth of 6”- 9” and forms the shape of an elongated triangle. The pattern includes a choice of 2 decorative edges, one an easy crocheted lace, the other a knitted picot. Worked in garter stitch with easy increases and decreases, it is beginner friendly.

The resulting little scarf will look great with a basic summer tee or a simple dress without adding unwelcome warmth.
