INTRODUCTION
Odie Mitts are knitted in a round on double pointed needles from the bottom up. You will cast on your stitches and work in pattern up to the thumb gusset. You will make increases for the thumb and then after all the increases have been made you will put the thumb stitches on waste yarn or a stitch holder to be worked later. You will finish working your mitt up to the fingers and then bind off loosely. You will then work your thumb.
