The Offerings Cowl draws inspiration from various sources, including the Blackfeet story of Ki’piaapi, the prairie crocus—a cherished harbinger of Spring in Blackfeet Country. Each year, my mom announces its arrival, a tradition that has deeply resonated with me.

The cowl is cast on using a provisional cast-on and knitted in the round. In two different options, you can use a combination of Recollect, Reminisce, Oh Dang! and Dyed in the Wool for an eclectic textured cowl with colorwork and lace design. Finish with a kitchener stitch for a seamlessly stunning knit accessory.
