The ‘Office Core Snap Dress’ is an elegant raglan dress worked from the top down. It features a slit at the hem and one at the neck that can be closed with a handmade leather choker from Striksakken, an I-cord, or a silk ribbon. Short-row shaping and slit plackets are worked on both sides of the slits for an improved fit. The dress has stylish cropped sleeves and delicate ribbed edges, making it perfect for both formal and festive occasions.
For added comfort, the inner side of the neck casing (the first 7 rows of the pattern) can be knitted in an alternative yarn quality, such as cotton or baby wool. The collar is sewn down at the end to form the casing through which the choker is threaded. Knitting elastic is inserted at the waist to create a fitted silhouette.
