A simple pattern for a toy ball, made up of 6 leaf-shaped sections.

The small ball is approx. 3” diameter, medium 4” and Large 5-6”.

Obviously this will vary depending on how tightly/loosely you knit. I have not given a set tension for this pattern as it doesn’t really matter, as long as you are happy with your results.

The balls can be made using any DK yarn and I suggest 3mm needles to give you a nice firm fabric which will not stretch to show the stuffing when filled.

If making the balls for juggling, I suggest the small or medium sizes and you may need to add something into the filling to give you more weight.
