The Oh Canada! Toque is a vibrant ode to national pride,
featuring Oh Canada! Self-Striping yarn from Timber
Yarns of Ontario, Canada (https://timberyarns.com). This pattern is most suitable for an intermediate knitter, or an adventurous beginner wanting to try stranded colourwork.

The symbolic maple leaf is prominently displayed using
charted colourwork. The recommended yarn from Timber Yarns is Oh Canada! Self-Striping DK 1 - 110g skein 256 metres /280 yards and Semi-tonal DK in Red 1 – 40g skein 93 metres /102 yards. With one skein of each, I had enough yarn to make one Child and one Adult Small toque, plus a pom-pom for the Child size. Yarn requirements shown are rounded and allow for swatching.

Sizes range from Child to Adult X-Large (measured head circumference 52.5 to 64 cm (19 to 24 inches)).

An optional pom-pom can be added. A perfect knit for
your next family outing!
