Congratulations!
Today is your day.
You’re off to knit laces!
You’re off and away!

You have yarn in your hand.
You have Hiya Hiya and Chiao Goo.
You can knit your shawl
in any colors you choose.
OH! The laces you will go!

The leaning laces of this shawl make me think of winding paths with those wooden arrow signs pointing in all directions. So, I couldn’t help but borrow some inspiration from Dr. Seuss.
This half pi shawl incorporates sections of garter stitch with sections of simple lace. There are just two lace stitch repeats that are easy to memorize – you don’t have to be a lace guru to knit this shawl!
Choose two colors as shown in the sample, alternate lace section colors, or even go wild and do every section in a different colorway! How you follow the pattern path is up to you. Oh, the laces you will go!
