The Olallieberry Cowl celebrates the lush hybrid berry that thrives along the California coast. Gauge

• 16 sts and 25 rows measure 10 x 10cm (4 x 4in) over stockinette (stocking) stitch, after blocking
• Swatch to determine the needle size that achieves the correct gauge

Construction

• The cowl is worked flat starting from the back neck.
• The shaping is achieved with increases at the end of RS rows, and an increase/decrease combination at the beginning plus a decrease at the end of WS rows.
• Once the cowl reaches the required length, increases stop to create space for the back neck seam.
• The pattern features four stitch patterns: Stockinette (Stocking) Stitch, Purl Ridge, Slipped Stitch, and Nupps. All patterns are worked with a built-in garter edge.
