This is a long and comfortable cardigan which will keep you warm throughout autumn and winter.

Suggested Yarn:
Álafoss Lopi, 100 % Icelandic wool (100m/100g) / (3.5 oz./109 yd.)
Léttlopi, held together (50g/100m) / (1.75 oz./109 yd.)

MC1: Álafoss Lopi 0059 black (5 (5, 6, 6) skeins)
MC2: Álafoss Lopi 0005 black heather (2 skeins)
CC1: Léttlopi 9427 rust heather, held together (2 skeins)
CC2: Álafoss Lopi 1237 sheep sorrel (1 skein)

Needles:
5 mm circular needle (US size 9), adjust needle size if necessary, to obtain gauge
4 mm circular needle (US size 6) for the front bands

Gauge:
14 sts x 17 rnds = 10 cm (4 inch) on a 5 mm needle in Stockinette stitch in the round

Note:
You work the cardigan from bottom up and then join body and sleeves for the yoke. On the front you will have a steek which is cut open afterwards.
